Penrose Cottage: Amenities

Penrose Cottage is about ten minutes drive from town (12 kilometres)  on Mt Lindesay road. The farm borders the Harewood Forest at the back boundary with its many walk trails.

We have six beautiful horses on the property that are groomed, fed and trained daily in yards adjacent to the cottage. Unfortunately we are unable to teach riding or conduct trail rides, because of inhibiting insurance costs, at this stage. However its still enjoyable sitting back with a glass of excellent local wine watching their horsy antics in the evenings.

Cattle graze the outer paddocks and the pet sheep wander about getting into mischief. Lots of wildlife, especially birds of all sorts including the blue wrens and firetail finches.

There is only the one cottage so its got a lovely privacy and exclusive feel, great to come back to and just relax after a day exploring the nearby sights and attractions.
